Ancillary Agencies at CSI

CSI’s community-focused programs (called ancillary agencies) provide essential services that support the well-being and success of individuals and families across Southern Idaho. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness helps ensure these programs operate with transparency, efficiency, and impact. By guiding their direction and aligning them with the college’s mission, we help maximize their reach—so they can continue delivering meaningful, reliable support to the communities we serve.

Whether you’re a parent, a small business owner, a student, or someone looking for new opportunities, CSI offers resources that serve people at every stage of life. From child care and health services to business and workforce training, we’re here to support our community.

What are CSI’s ancillary agencies?

CSI’s ancillary agencies are specialized programs and services that extend the college’s impact beyond the classroom. Each agency plays a unique role in serving the needs of our region.

These agencies are part of what makes CSI more than just a college. They help us respond to the real needs of Southern Idaho—providing lifelong learning, job skills, and community support where it’s needed most.

Who do these agencies serve?

Our agencies serve a wide range of people across Southern Idaho and beyond—from young children and families, to older adults, aspiring entrepreneurs, and small business owners. Whether it’s early childhood education, senior services, motorcycle safety or business support, CSI’s ancillary agencies are here to uplift the entire community.

Why are these agencies important to the Magic Valley?

CSI’s ancillary agencies bring essential resources directly to the people who need them most—often in rural or underserved areas. By promoting education, wellness, independence, and economic development, these programs strengthen the social and economic fabric of the Magic Valley and beyond.
