The CSI NextGen program provides funding and support for the Youth Career Academies hosted by CSI Workforce Development. Career academies are designed to support our students in experiencing modern career opportunities within the Magic Valley through hands-on experiences and career exploration. In 2023, the College of Southern Idaho was awarded a NextGen grant from the United States Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA NIFA). This exciting opportunity supports CSI’s efforts to grow its agriculture programs and inspire more students to pursue careers in agriculture, food, and natural resources. The goal is to help meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in these essential industries.
